Hi, my name is Laurie LaGrange and I am an independent educator and the owner of Sew Much To Learn, LLC.

 

I was born and raised in Colorado.  I graduated from Elizabeth High School and then attended the University of Northern Colorado where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with an emphasis in Secondary Education.  I taught middle school and high school math for several years before entering the retail sewing industry.

My journey began in 2011 when I went to work for Rocky Mountain Sewing & Vacuum in Colorado Springs, CO.  I was a beginner quilter with no embroidery experience and I quickly discovered that I had sew much to learn.  With some of the best sewing and embroidery machines at my finger tips and a desire to learn, I was on my way to an exciting career.  It was here that I picked up my love for Floriani embroidery software and the Brother ScanNCut.  There were lots of rewarding aspects of my job, but it came as no surprise that my favorite part was teaching classes. 

 

The second chapter of my journey began in 2021, when I moved to Broken Arrow, OK and went to work for B-Sew Inn as their Education Specialist.  Again, the opportunity to work with some of the top machines on the market has helped me to expand my knowledge base and fueled my passion for teaching.

Sew Much To Learn, LLC was formed in May 2022 with the dream of inspiring others through creative education.  After several delays, I finally held my first official class in September 2022 as an independent educator. I hope you'll take a class and join me on my journey!

This journey has already led me to my next great adventure! In February 2023, I joined Team RNK as a Certified National Educator. I continue to teach private classes when I am home, between events.
